01 - Shri Shriram Ji Begins The Journey With Handpicked Marble
Shri Shriram Ji, who is founder of Ashia Moorti & Painting Palace has 50 years of experience handpicks the ideal marble and then given to artist who draws a pencil OUTLINE of the STATUE on RAW MARBLE.
02 - Shaping The Form: From Dola (Rough Edges) Process to Artistic Precision
The Initial stage involves the first craftsman performing THE DOLA PROCESS by which he removes the ROUGH EDGES. Then 2nd craftsman focuses on bringing the statue to life with finer elements.
03 - Crafting Grace: From Facial Features to Ornamental Finish
The 3rd craftsman works on the face and works on the jewellery (tipayi), followed by final polishing by polishing team (polishers), depending on the size of statue
04 - Skilled Polishers Polish the Statue
The 4th craftsman ( Team of 2 – 5 Polishers) polishes the statue depending on the size of statue
05 - Different Marbles, Different Painting Techniques
The painting process depends on the Marble Type (Zhiri, Sangemarmar & Vietnamese)
– Vietnamese marble is so white, it requires minimal painting.
06 - Masterpiece Crafted, Glazed, and Ready for Its Journey
After receiving a final coat of specialized glossy lamination with a last touch to highlight its vivid details that enhances both the color vibrancy and surface sheen – The statue is packed and delivered with care to its new home
